“It's knowing that you're making a difference around the world that sets working here apart from anywhere else in the industry.”
Chief Communications Officer
Here's how our recruitment team is responding to COVID-19.
Interviews
All interviews for positions at CardUP will be conducted via Zoom. While we love getting to meet you in person, we’re confident that we’ll still be able to get to know each other virtually. Our commitment to an inclusive and equitable selection process will continue to hold true even with this shift in our approach. And we’ll make sure you have access to the tools you need to collaborate technically during the interview, if applicable.
Flexibility
If back-to-back interviews don’t work for your schedule, let us know. We’ll work to accommodate your schedule over the course of a few days. At CardUP, we understand that unforeseen circumstances are to be expected during these difficult times.
Family First
All of us are at home right now with our partners, kids, and pets too. If they happen to pop in and join you on screen during your interview, it's okay. We know they're part of your decision to join us at CardUP, and we're happy to meet them.
Start Now. Move Later.
If relocation for your role is required but isn’t possible right now due to COVID-19, let’s continue the conversation about our options. CardUP champions workplace flexibility, and that remains our priority in determining the feasibility of remote work in your prospective role.
Remote Onboarding
We’ve transitioned your first week of onboarding to a fully remote experience. The People team at CardUP has curated a fantastic week that still allows you to connect with your new colleagues and peers, all from the safety of your own home.
Physical Offices Closed
CardUP's offices are still closed and employees are working from home until further notice. We’re continually monitoring the COVID-19 situation and will re-imagine our workforce with the safety of our employees top of mind. To help set you up comfortably at home, we’re giving all of our new hires a remote workplace stimulus.
Revised Benefits
We’ve altered policies around sick time, parental leave, short-term disability, and paid time off to help our employees meet any extenuating needs in their personal lives.
